ATLANTIC STRONG:
16 ways trade is changing our labour market
The 2026 Atlantic Labour Market Conference will look at the pending renewal of the Canada US Mexico Trade Agreement; efforts to promote inter-provincial trade; the impact of tariffs; and an economy mired with inflation and unaffordability. We’re partnering with industry experts in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador to identify the threats and opportunities we can expect during this time of volatility. Speakers will address high-demand occupations, growth industries and sectors that will benefit from a more Canada-centered economy.
